We know that selecting a health plan can be confusing and complicated and Your Health Idaho is here to help.
Our Consumer Connectors are licensed agents, brokers and trained In-Person Assisters (IPAs) that can help you apply for and enroll you in a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) through the Your Health Idaho insurance marketplace. They will be able to help you compare rates, evaluate benefits and understand premium assistance and reduced cost-sharing options that you may be eligible for.
- In-Person Assisters (IPAs) are employees or volunteers from non-profit entities around the state that have been trained by Your Health Idaho to help you understand what options are available to you and your family, as well as explain premium assistance. They cannot make specific recommendations about which plan you should buy.
- Brokers (also known as Agents or Producers) are licensed and regulated by Idaho’s Department of Insurance to sell insurance and typically get payments or commissions from health insurers for enrolling a consumer into a plan. Some agents and brokers may only be able to sell plans from specific health insurers. Only an agent or broker can make specific recommendations about which plan you should buy. Brokers on this list have self-reported to Your Health Idaho that they have completed training to sell insurance products on Your Health Idaho. The list is updated periodically. If a name does not appear on this list it may be because we have not yet received the appropriate update.
