WHAT’S INCLUDED
Vision Coverage for the Whole Family
While vision coverage for children is included in all health plans offered by Your Health Idaho, most adult health plans do not cover vision benefits.
With VSP®, you can save on eyecare services and eyewear at all participating locations. You can enroll anytime during the year; no Qualifying Life Event or Special Enrollment Period is needed.
WHAT VSP COVERS
Two VSP® Plans to Choose From
A wide range of benefits and services are available through the VSP® network. Most VSP® plans include:
Access to a large doctor network
$150 allowance to spend on any frame
Up to 30% off lens enhancements
$25 Basic lens copay
Eye exams for glasses
Laser vision correction discounts
GOOD TO KNOW
Tax Credits Don't Apply to Vision Premiums
Because adult vision coverage is not considered an essential health benefit, Advance Premium Tax Credits cannot be applied to your vision premiums.
