BOISE, Idaho – Idahoans who want healthcare coverage to begin on January 1, have just a few days left to enroll.

Individuals must complete their application by midnight Thursday, December 15, in order to have coverage at the start of the new year.

“We want to make sure Idahoans know about the December 15 deadline so they can have their coverage start as soon as possible.” said Pat Kelly, executive director of Your Health Idaho. “We’re expecting very high customer traffic this week and urge people not to wait until the last minute.” Customer support is available 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. MT, at 1-855-YH-IDAHO.

Insurance agents and brokers across the state are available to help Idahoans who want their health insurance coverage to start at the beginning of the new year. If consumers want to find an agent or broker in their community who can help find the best plan for them and their families free of charge, they can visit www.YourHealthIdaho.org and click on “find help near you.”

Open Enrollment for 2017 coverage continues through January 31, 2017.
